Give a respectable title to the film made on Emperor Prithviraj Chouhan like Maharaja Prithviraj Chouhan or be ready for consequences. Shree Rajput Karni Sena has issued this ultimatum in the name of Yehraj Films, requesting the Mumbai Police to take action against Yash Raj Films. One wonders what on earth is wrong with the title Prithviraj Chouhan right now. Shree Rajput Karni Sena, Mumbai has asked Yash Raj Films to give a respectable and appropriate title name to the film which is under production, based on the biography of Emperor Prithviraj Chauhan. Karni Sena has warned that if there is mess and mischief with the honour of Emperor Prithviraj Chouhan, the Karni Sena would settle the case on its own.

It is noteworthy that on the occasion of Emperor Prithviraj Chaohan Jayanti, Shree Rajput Karni Sena Mumbai passed a resolution requesting the Mumbai Police to take action against Yash Raj Films. Karni Sena has demanded action against Yash Raj Films with Mumbai Police. With this request, Karni Sena has issued an ultimatum in the name of Yash Raj Films. Mumbai President of Shri Rajput Karni Sena Dilip Rajput has said that no compromise will be tolerated in regard to Emperor Prithviraj Chouhan. Emperor Prithviraj Chauhan is the pride of the nation, a symbol of our identity.

According to Dilip Rajput, for filmmakers, film is only a means of entertainment and wealth accumulation. In order to make the film spicy, the history is twisted and presented. The filmmakers who cannot give the film its proper name or title, it is natural to raise apprehension about what will be served in the film and its contents.

It is not new  that a political outfit charges on to a filmmaker asking for change in title. Earlier it did happen with Sanjay Leela Bhansali who had no other alternative but to change the title of his film Padmavati to Padmavat, which did not make any sense at all.
